Overview

The Billing Summary page provides an aggregate financial overview of your ISP's billing activity for a selected time period. Rather than showing individual invoices, it groups and totals figures by operator or reseller, giving you a clear picture of revenue billed, revenue collected, and outstanding balances. This page is most useful at the end of each month for financial reconciliation.

Go to Bills & Payments → Billing Summary.

Understanding the Summary Table

The summary is presented as a grouped table. Each row represents a single operator or reseller, with the following columns:

Column Description
Operator / Reseller The operator or reseller account the figures belong to
Total Billed The sum of all invoices generated in the selected period
Total Collected The sum of all payments received against those invoices
Outstanding Balance The difference between total billed and total collected — the amount still owed

A totals row at the bottom of the table sums all operators together, giving you the overall financial position for the period.

Filtering by Date Range

By default, the summary shows the current month. To view a different period:

  1. Use the date range picker at the top of the page to select a start date and end date.
  2. Click Apply or Filter to refresh the summary.

You can use this to compare month-on-month performance or to review a specific quarter.

Exporting the Summary

To share or archive the billing summary:

  1. Click the Export button (CSV or Excel format, depending on your system configuration).
  2. The exported file contains the same grouped data shown on screen, including the date range in the filename for easy reference.

The exported file is suitable for importing into accounting software or sharing with management.

Use Cases

  • End-of-month reconciliation: Confirm that the amount collected matches your bank deposits, broken down by operator.
  • Operator performance review: Identify which operators or resellers have the highest outstanding balances.
  • Audit trail: Keep exported summaries as a monthly financial record.
