Activity Log
Overview
The Activity Log is the primary audit trail for everything that happens inside the ISPBills admin panel. Every significant action performed by an admin or operator is recorded here automatically — no configuration is required. This log is your first stop when investigating what happened, who did it, and when.
What Is Recorded
The Activity Log captures a wide range of admin and operator actions, including but not limited to:
- Customer management — creating, editing, suspending, or deleting a customer account.
- Bill generation — manual or automated bill creation events.
- Payment recording — payments entered against a customer account.
- Package changes — upgrading or downgrading a customer's internet plan.
- Profile changes — updates to customer contact details, addresses, or login credentials.
- System configuration changes — changes to routers, packages, SMS settings, and other system-wide settings.
- Operator actions — actions performed by sub-operators or resellers on their assigned customers.
Log Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Time | The date and time the action was performed. |
| Actor | The username of the admin or operator who performed the action. |
| Topic | The area of the system affected (e.g. Customer, Bill, Payment, Package). |
| Description | A human-readable summary of what was done (e.g. Created customer John Doe). |
| Status | Whether the action succeeded or failed. |
| Reference | An optional reference ID linking the log entry to a specific record (e.g. customer ID, invoice number). |
Searching and Filtering
Use the search bar at the top of the log to find entries by keyword — for example, a customer name, username, or description text. Use the date range picker to limit results to a specific period.
Exporting to CSV
Click the Download CSV button to export the currently filtered log entries as a spreadsheet. This is useful for audits, compliance reporting, or sharing log data with stakeholders outside the system.
Adding Reviewer Notes
Any log entry can be annotated with a reviewer note. Click on the entry and use the Add Note field to record your observations, findings, or follow-up actions. Notes are attributed to the reviewer and timestamped, supporting team collaboration without altering the original log record.
