Overview

The Notice Broadcast feature allows you to send a bulk SMS message to all of your active resellers (operators) simultaneously. It is designed for operational communications — informing your reseller network about important updates without needing to contact each reseller individually.

This feature targets operators and resellers, not end customers. For bulk SMS to customers, use the Customer SMS Broadcast feature available in the customer management section.

Use Cases

Notice Broadcast is ideal for communicating:

  • Planned maintenance — notify resellers before scheduled network downtime so they can inform their customers.
  • Price changes — announce upcoming package price adjustments before they take effect.
  • Network upgrades — inform resellers of infrastructure improvements or changes to router/NAS configurations.
  • Policy updates — distribute updated terms, billing policies, or operational procedures.
  • Promotional information — announce new packages, special offers, or service launches.
  • Emergency alerts — quickly notify the reseller network of unplanned outages or critical issues.

How to Send a Notice

  1. Navigate to Resellers & Managers > Notice Broadcast.
  2. Type your message in the message text box.
  3. Click Send.
  4. The SMS is delivered simultaneously to all active resellers registered in your account.

Message Guidelines

Character Limit

Standard SMS messages are limited to 160 characters per SMS credit. Messages longer than 160 characters will be sent as concatenated SMS (multiple SMS segments), consuming additional SMS credits per reseller.

SMS Credit Usage

Each notice consumes one SMS credit per reseller recipient (or more for long messages). Ensure you have sufficient SMS credits before sending a broadcast.

Example: If you have 30 active resellers and your message is 200 characters (2 SMS segments), the broadcast will consume 60 SMS credits.

Important Considerations

  • Verify the message before sending. Once sent, the broadcast cannot be recalled. Double-check the content, recipient scope, and any figures or dates in the message.
  • Use professional language. All resellers will receive the same message — ensure the tone and content are appropriate for all recipients.
  • Avoid sending during non-business hours unless the matter is urgent (e.g., an emergency outage alert).
  • This broadcast goes to all resellers at once — there is no option to select individual resellers from this menu. For targeted messaging, contact individual resellers directly.
