NetFlow is a paid ISPBills add-on with a 15-day free trial, simple subscription billing and pricing tied to your active operator tier.

See the overview for what NetFlow does, or the setup guide to start exporting flows.

Pricing Model

NetFlow is priced at half the operator's active subscription fee. If your base subscription changes, the NetFlow add-on price scales with that subscription tier.

Subscription tier Customer scale NetFlow add-on price
Mid-tier Up to 2,000 customers 50% of the active Mid-tier subscription fee
Large-tier 2,001+ customers 50% of the active Large-tier subscription fee

NetFlow availability depends on add-on visibility for your account. If it is missing, contact your super_admin or ISPBills support.

Start the 15-Day Free Trial

A 15-day free trial is available from the portal.

  1. Open Account → Plans → Add-ons.
  2. Find NetFlow Traffic Analysis.
  3. Select Start trial.
  4. Enable the collector and configure your exporters.
Trial item Behaviour
Length 15 days
Feature access Full NetFlow dashboard, sources, live flows and reports
Billing during trial No NetFlow charge until the trial converts or is activated
Trial eligibility Available to eligible Mid-tier and Large-tier accounts

After the Trial Expires

When the trial expires, new data collection pauses unless the add-on is activated. Historical NetFlow data is retained for 30 days so you can review previous usage or reactivate without losing recent context.

Activate before the trial ends if NetFlow is part of your daily NOC workflow. This avoids gaps in traffic history.

Billing and Invoices

NetFlow charges roll into the next subscription invoice. ISPBills does not create a separate invoice for the add-on; it appears alongside your normal subscription line items.

Billing event Result
Trial started No immediate invoice
Add-on activated Charge included in the next subscription invoice
Subscription tier upgraded NetFlow price recalculates from the new active subscription fee
Subscription tier downgraded NetFlow price follows the new eligible tier where available

Cancelling NetFlow

Cancel the add-on from Account → Plans → Add-ons by opening NetFlow and selecting Cancel add-on or Disable renewal.

After cancellation, collection stops at the end of the paid period. Historical data follows the normal retention policy and remains available while your account can access the NetFlow module.
