Overview

The Ubiquiti monitoring feature lets you manage and monitor Ubiquiti AirMax and UniFi access points directly from ISPBills. Instead of logging into each device individually, you can view the real-time status of all your Ubiquiti hardware from a single list, drill down into individual device details, and quickly spot access points that have gone offline or are underperforming.

Adding a Ubiquiti Device

To register a new Ubiquiti device with ISPBills, navigate to Monitoring › Ubiquiti and click Add Device. Fill in the following fields:

  • IP Address — the management IP address of the access point.
  • Username — the administrator username configured on the device.
  • Password — the corresponding administrator password.
  • Operator — the operator or staff member responsible for this device.

Save the form. ISPBills will immediately attempt to reach the device and record its initial status.

Device List

Once devices are added, the Ubiquiti device list displays a summary row for each one:

  • Name — the hostname or label assigned to the device.
  • IP Address — the management IP used to poll the device.
  • Status — whether the device is currently Online or Offline.

You can sort and filter the list to focus on offline devices or devices assigned to a particular operator.

Device Detail Page

Clicking on any device in the list opens its detail (show) page, which provides deeper real-time metrics retrieved from the device:

  • Signal Strength — the current RF signal level in dBm, giving you an indication of link quality.
  • Connected Clients — the number of wireless clients currently associated with the access point.
  • Frequency — the radio frequency band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) on which the device is operating.
  • TX Rate / RX Rate — the current transmit and receive data rates, useful for identifying congested or degraded links.

Polling

ISPBills polls each registered Ubiquiti device periodically in the background. Status and metrics are therefore updated automatically without any manual refresh, ensuring that the information you see in both the list and the detail page reflects the current state of your network.
